Day 1: MEET AND GREET
On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will meet our company representative who will warmly welcome and transfer you to your Hotel in Entebbe or Kampala. Overnight at The Boma Guesthouse or Cassia Lodge
Day 2: GREET THEN DRIVE TO KAMPALA
Breakfast and you will have a city tour and places to visit include:

Day 3: TO KALINZU FOREST RESERVE VIA MITYANA, MUBENDE
Today after an early morning breakfast you will start your trip with a visit to the famous Nakaima tree, 2 km off Mubende town, on the top of Mubende hill. This is famously known as the final resting place for one of the Buganda tribal gods known as NAKAIMA, within the root buttresses of this ancient tree is a shrine visited by Baganda from all parts of the country searching for spiritual fulfillment throughout the year, It is also known as the witch tree. The Kalinzu Forest Reserve is steeped in mysteries and rich with local legends. Learn about the folklore and uses of the forest from a local guide. You will then proceed to Fort Portal for a guided walk in the Bigodi Sanctuary Swamp. Dinner & Overnight at Kibale Forest Camp
Day 4: CHIMPANZEE & QUEEN ELIZABETH NP
Early breakfast and transfer at 06:30hrs to Kibale Forest National Park headquarters for briefing before setting off for chimpanzees tracking.You will also have a chance to see primates including I’hoestes, red colobus, blues, red tailed and gray– cheeked mangabey. Enjoy lunch at the hotel and transfer to Queen Elisabeth NP. Depending on the time of arrival, you will do a game drive in the Katwe crater region. Dinner & overnight at Bush Lodge
Day 5: TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NP
After breakfast, go for a game drive in the Kasenyi region. Thereafter, we will take a long drive in direction basing on availability of permits, as you enjoy the beauty of an African country side over hills, down valleys, through villages and trading centers with lunch en-route to Bwindi. You will arrive in afternoon and relax as you prepare for the great adventure of trekking the Gorillas tomorrow. Dinner and overnight in Kitandara Luxury Tented Camp (Buhoma) or Gorila Safari Lodge (standard)
Day 6: GORILLA TREKKING (BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NP)
After breakfast, proceed for the morning briefing before enjoying the highlight of the trip- G
orilla trekking, which may last the entire day. We trek through the rainforest and bamboo covered slopes, accompanied by a guide and trackers, in search of a mountain gorilla family. The walking can sometimes be tough and long, but when you catch a glimpse of the magnificent silverback, any discomforts will be quickly forgotten. When sighted, visitors will be guided to within 6 meters from the gorillas, sit around them for a whole hour while gazing into their big round eyes. Gorilla trekking is unpredictable. It’s difficult to foresee how many hours you will hike. The gorilla excursion can take from 2 up to 8 hours. Expect to walk along distance in steep and muddy conditions, sometimes with rain overhead, before you encounter any gorillas. A good physical condition is recommended. For conservation purposes, time spent with the gorillas is limited to one hour. A ranger will brief you on how to behave with the gorillas. Today you will make short journey to Lake Bunyonyi for a day of relaxation as you recover from the previous rigorous day at Bwindi, on the shores of this peaceful lake. You have got a wide range of relaxing/optional activities to choose from namely; birding, cycling, and sun bathing, swimming or even canoeing. Be sure to also enjoy various cultural activities with the indigenous Batwa people who have lived in these areas for 100’s of years surviving on the surrounding environment for food, medicine and shelter. Having had an early breakfast you will embark on your return to Kampala, driving down the grassed and terraced escarpments of southwestern Uganda while taking in the breathtaking sights of the hills of the region dubbed ‘the little Switzerland of Africa’. This area is a highly fertile, mountainous region with steep sided hills covered from top to bottom in neatly terraced cultivated rows. Not to miss as we traverse Mbarara are the imposing long horn Ankole cattle. A remarkable highlight of this journey is the Equator line and surely you will cross it as we have a brief stop here for you to take photographs. We will be in Kampala in the evening in time for your night flight back home

Our Land Cruisers offer seats for 5-6 people to ensure that everybody has a window seat and that luggage can be stored well.
