Day 01: EUROPE – ENTEBBE – KAMPALA
After a warm welcome on arrival at Entebbe airport, you will be transferred to your hotel in Kampala (about a one hour drive). Overnight at Kampala
Day 02: KAMPALA – JINJA (THE- HAVEN)
After breakfast, you will transfer to Jinja, Uganda’s second largest town and is situated approx. 90 km east of Kampala. This was once a small fishing village it is now a thriving commercial center on the shore of Lake Victoria by the source of the Nile. After lunch you will have a choice of activities to enjoy as you relax and prepare yourself for biking adventure namely: rafting, kayaking, Quad ride, bungee jumping, boat ride, horseback, and fishing. Day 03: FIRST BIKE DAY: THE HAVEN – FATHER JOSEF FARM (57KM)
After breakfast we start our first day of cycling. The trail undulates through beautiful rural plantations and small villages along the White Nile to “Kayunga County, overnight camping at father Joseph’s farmDay 04: FATHER JOSEPH – NAKASANGOLA (85KM BIKING, 10KM BOAT)
After breakfast we continue riding along the Nile to lake Kiyoga we will arrive to the lake around lunch time , after lunch crossing with local boats (people + bikes ) to the other side of the lake , we will continue biking for another 15km to our camping point at a local school
Day 05: NAKASANGOLA – ZIWA RHINO SANCTUARY (74KM)
This day is taking us throw an amazing single trial to the ziwa rhino sanctuary, the sanctuary is trying to bring back the rhinos to Uganda after the last one was killed during Amin regime, evening walk with the rhinos, overnight at the sanctuary ,
Day 06: ZIWA RHINO SANCTUARY – MURCHISON PARK (80KM)
Today we will travel with local taxis called “matatu” , it is quite an experience , we will cross with them on a ferry to the other side of the Nile and will start to ride to the magnificent Murchison park, overnight in Chobe Safari Lodge. www.chobelodgeuganda.com
Day 7: MURCHISON PARK (60KM)
This is our highlight day of biking , after breakfast we will transfer about 30km inside the park and will start our bike game ride in the park, you will have the chance to watch elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, leopards, different species of antelope and many tropical birds overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge – www.paraalodge.com
Day 8: MURCHISON PARK – ENTEBBE
After breakfast we will go for a boat ride on the Nile to the bottom of Murchison falls. From the boat you will have the chance to watch Crocodiles, hundreds of hippos, birds and animols that comes to drink from the nile . From the bottom of the falls we will hike up to the top of the magnificent Murchison falls. We will have lunch at the top of the falls and afterword will be transferred to the airfield for a magnificent flight over Murchison Park to Entebbe airport.
